At Alteeve, high availability is not a product—it’s a principle.
Since our founding, we’ve focused exclusively on building infrastructure that doesn’t fail. Every component of our Intelligent Availability® platform is engineered to prioritize fault tolerance, resilience, and operational continuity without compromising performance.
We design and deploy highly resilient systems engineered for maximum uptime in demanding production environments. Our technology is trusted by organizations from marine vessels and research labs to the data center and defense agencies.
Our clients engage directly with the Alteeve staff who design and support their systems—ensuring fast, informed, and highly tailored service. Alteeve works directly with system administrators, infrastructure teams, and C-level leaders to ensure our solutions align with both technical and operational goals.
About Alteeve
Founded in 1997, Alteeve is a systems design and software company focused solely on high availability.
In 2013, we launched the Anvil!—our purpose-built high availability platform engineered to meet the demands of enterprise environments while remaining accessible and practical for small and medium-sized businesses. The Anvil! is designed to recover from hardware and software failures automatically—without requiring specialized staff or complex vendor stacks.
The Anvil! platform goes far beyond traditional clustering or replication. It combines continuous monitoring, intelligent fault detection, and self-managed autonomous operation with rules-based AI, providing proactive decision-making and execution. Designed for self-sufficiency, Anvil! makes high availability practical, transparent, and manageable—even for teams without dedicated IT staffing resources.
Open source is fundamental to our approach. The Anvil! technology is open source, and we actively contribute to the broader community. This not only provides transparency and flexibility to our clients, but also strengthens the underlying software through peer review and collaboration.
Our clients span a wide range of industries, but all rely on us for the same reason: systems that stay up, and a team that stands behind them.
At Alteeve, we don’t just build high availability systems—we make them accessible, understandable, and sustainable for the organizations that need them most.
